Carla Tanz

Carla Tanz is a 500-hour Yoga Alliance–certified teacher and former marketing executive with a BA in Psychology and an MBA from NYU. She trained at Five Pillars Yoga and Prema Yoga Institute in New York City and holds certifications in Vinyasa, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, and Yoga Therapeutics.

Carla discovered yoga in her 20s as a way to manage anxiety and quiet a nonstop mind. Yoga has remained a steady source of strength and healing ever since. Known for her intuitive, relatable, and motivating teaching style, she helps everyday people reduce stress, calm the nervous system, build flexibility and strength, while reconnecting with themselves mentally and physically. Her students value the strength, ease, and connection she cultivates in each class, along with practical insights that support life on and off the mat.

Her goal is simple: that students leave class feeling calm, clear, and at home in their bodies.
